Outdoor Activities at Todhill

The perfect place to connect with nature and enjoy the great outdoors!

A view of a natural landscape featuring small yellow flowers and lots of different types of trees in the sunlight.

Todhill has acres of natural habitat for you to explore!

A pathway from the chalet patios leads downwards to a secure gate through which you can access Todhill's wetlands and woodland trail. Starting at the donkey paddock the path follows a figure of eight route and can be walked as a short loop or slightly longer trail that leads back to the Chalets along Dubbs Road.

We see someone wearing sturdy brown walking shoes on a gravel path in the sunlight. They are grasping the laces and tying them.
Two brown donkeys in a natural field of grass. One is facing the camera and the other is walking towards the first one.
A gravel path leads through a natural scene. The wooden fences at the edge of the path cast a soft shadow in the sunshine.
Spiky flowers in a vivid blue are standing out against a lush green backdrop of foliage.

Todhill is a haven for wildlife; what will you spot?

The Todhill wetlands are nationally recognised as a special habitat for a wide range of birds and other animals. Inside your chalet you'll find a wildlife pack with all the information you need to go looking for the amazing variety of animals that make Todhill their home. Keep your eye out for herons, birds of prey, dragonflies, amphibians, deer and lots more!

A frog (the european common frog) is close to the camera sitting on some foliage. It's side on and one of it's large eyes is facing the camera.
A heron is standing on its long legs in the water. It is surrounded by aquatic grasses.
